The circuit
Built in 1988 by Angelo Corberi and still run by the family, South Garda Karting in Lonato is considered the "temple" of European karting: it hosts the Winter Cup, the Trofeo delle Industrie and numerous rounds of the FIA Karting World and European Championships. The track, lengthened to 1,200 m in 2015, is CIK-FIA homologated and has grandstands for 2,000 spectators, a restaurant and a hotel.
