The circuit
Planned from the late 1990s and built from 2004 along the SS 640 between Agrigento and Caltanissetta, the Autodromo Valle dei Templi came into operation in 2005-2006 as the third permanent circuit in Sicily. The 2,490 metre track has 11 corners (8 right and 3 left), a 650 metre straight, 22 garages and a 20,000 m² paddock; it is FMI homologated and has a 24-room 3-star hotel, a self-service restaurant and a bar, hosting motorcycle and car track days, Time Attack Sicilia, scooter trophies and historic races.
