The circuit

Services at Vallelunga

Created in 1951 from the conversion of a racecourse and paved in 1957 to a design by Piero Taruffi, Vallelunga has been owned by the Automobile Club d'Italia since 1967 and lies about 33 km north of Rome. It has hosted Formula 1 tests, the 6 Hours of Vallelunga and World Superbike rounds in 2007 and 2008. The international circuit is 4,085 m long (4,110 m in the motorcycle version) and is flanked by a 1,746 m Club track, the ACI-Sara Safe Driving Centre and the Park Hotel.
